Configure Notepad to use Word Wrap (All Windows)

This setting controls whether text is wrapped onto the next line when the screen in full in Notepad. Although it can be configured by using the Edit menu in Notepad, this tweak allows you to change the word-wrap feature through the registry.

Open your registry and find the key below.

Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called 'fWrap' using the settings below.

Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.


(Default)	REG_SZ	(value not set)
fWrap	REG_DWORD	0x00000001 (1)


	HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Notepad

Settings:

User Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Notepad]
Name: fWrap
Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value: (0 = off, 1= on)
